Emerald Green Arborvitae (Botanical name: Thuja orientalis ‘Emerald Green’) is an excellent evergreen plant with many uses from stand alone specimen to a versatile semi-formal screen. ‘Emerald Green’ does best in full sun reaching a mature height of about 15-18′ tall and usually about 6-8′ in width.

Leyland Cypress is one of the fastest growing evergreens available for growing here on Martha’s Vineyard. Growing best in full sun, Leyland Cypress (Botanical name: Cupressus x ‘leylandii) is pyramidal in habit and can reach heights of 20-25′ and width of 10′ or more. Used as stand alone specimen trees, planted in loose groupings or as a dense screen, this plant has proven itself with many versatile uses.
