Ivy Geraniums

Perfect for window boxes and container gardens as these cascade over the edge with their beautiful flowers. Available in a vast array of colors, they work well combined with Tangos or Rocky Mountains.

Floribunda

These colorful smaller geraniums show more blooms than foliage, so the overall effect is extremely vivid. Also available in a vast array of great colors.

Rocky Mountain Geraniums

These geraniums are larger and produce more blooms – perfect for larger containers. They even stay prolific in the hot summer heat!

How to care for your Zonal Geraniums:

Like all of Mahoney’s Premium Annuals, the best fertilizing plan consists of two parts. First, a time-release granular fertilizer like Osmocote works best to ease the transition of re-planting or re-potting. Two to three weeks after planting, feed with a liquid fertilizer on a weekly basis. Miracle-Gro or an organic water-soluble product like Neptune’s Harvest works great!

“Dead-heading” your geraniums will conserve the plant’s energy and encourage new blooms. Simply look for any wilting or brown flowers, and snap the end off of the end of a stem just below the old bloom. Soon a new flower will grow in its place!
